Stress relaxation test (SRT)

goal: Test of handling with stress - determination of stress types
The Stressentspannungstest (SET [Stress Relaxation Test]) is for testing the dealing with stressors (coping with stress). During that test, the muscular reaction (electromyogram parameter), the vegetative neural reaction (skin potential parameter)) and the vegetative-emotional reaction (skin resistance parameter) are measured with a smardwatch®.

The test is broken down into three reaction stages:

By means of measuring the electromyogram, skin potential and skin resistance parameters, the SRT allows for determining stable and instable sections of the vegetative reactions regulation. That is meant for determining the regulation types

always in relation to the muscular reaction, the vegetative-neural reaction and the vegetative emotional reaction.



Classification of types of handling with stress using calculation of phases of stable or unstable regulation

Administering the test:
Measuring the vegetative parameter is done by means of the smardwatch® of the system. After ten minutes, a stressor (electric noise) is applied via headphone for a period of one minute. That will be followed by a processing stage, lasting ten minutes. After administering the Stress Relaxation Test, the measured values will be read into the CRD-SRT and analysed.
